TCIFA Host Fourth Annual Soccer Scramble
PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands; Monday, April 27th, 2009 –The Fourth Annual Soccer Scramble takes place in Providenicales this weekend. The four-person net scramble, generally held at the beginning of each new football season, is being put on by the Turks and Caicos Islands Football Association (TCIFA) - in collaboration with premier jeweler, Jai’s.
Taking place at the Provo Golf and Country Club on Sunday, May 3rd, 2009; the scramble will Tee-off at 1:00PM and will see to a lively afternoon of play.
All proceeds raised from the 18-hole golf tournament will be used by TCIFA for its Youth Development programme 2009, and other initiatives put on by the organization. Teams and persons interested may sign up at Provo Golf Club. Entry fee is $135.00 for non-members and $95.00 for members of the Golf Club.
The TCIFA will also be running a grand raffle, with a first prize of a Diamond Watch valued at $1,000.00, second prize $750.00 cash, and third prize, two tickets to attend the 3rd annual Le Reve Gala Ball (valued at $500.00) this September 2009. All prizes will be drawn following the Soccer Scramble on the day.
Other prizes: a one-night stay at The Grace Bay Club, meal for two at Anacaona (The Grace Bay Club), Digicel phone, and much, much more to come…
Raffle tickets are priced at $20.00, and available from Fairways Bar and Grill at the Provo Golf Club, or the TCIFA Headquarters in Tropicana Plaza, in Providenciales.
