(L-R) Leader of the Progressive National Party (PNP) Clayton Greene Businessman Albray Butterfield Jnr.
Greene’s decision has promoted the top-brass of the PNP to write a letter to party chairman Norman Saunders Snr., requesting an urgent meeting to discuss the leader’s selection and, possibly, his future as head of the party.
In a brief telephone interview with The SUN, Greene said: “The party has elected me to lead and I will do so, and its constitution has given me the authority and discretion to select a deputy leader and I have done that.”
